Invincible Summer is a captivating short film directed and produced by Arhaan Hirani as part of his capstone course. The short film follows Zoe as she faces her intrusive thoughts following the loss of a loved one. 

 

The film is titled after a quote from Albert Camus, "In the midst of winter, I found there was within me an invincible summer." This theme is woven throughout the film, as Zoe learns to find strength within herself and push through the hardships that come her way.

 

Invincible Summer was awarded first place narrative long at the Oklahoma Broadcast Education Association(OBEA) in 2021, a testament to its excellence in storytelling, direction, and production. The film features a talented cast and crew who worked tirelessly to bring the story to life, and the result is a visually stunning and emotionally resonant film.

 

The project was a collaborative effort that involved extensive pre-production planning, including storyboarding, location scouting, and casting. The production process was executed flawlessly, with careful attention paid to lighting, camera work, and sound design. The post-production phase involved editing, color grading, and sound mixing, resulting in a polished final product.

 

Overall, Incinvble Summer is a powerful and moving film that explores themes of resilience, inner strength, and overcoming adversity. It is a testament to the creative talent and hard work of the director and crew, and a worthy winner of the OBEA award.
